WORKFLOW DESIGN / IN DEVELOPMENT

Hello Work

A job-search workflow project in development, with planned tools for organizing opportunities and preparing tailored application materials. The goal is a clearer path from finding relevant engineering and GIS roles to tracking the next step.

Job-search workflows · Application planning · Demo forthcoming
APPLIED AI / LOCAL WORKSPACE

Kiwami Bob

A local AI workspace built around Ollama and Open WebUI for document exploration, web-assisted research, and Python experiments. It runs on my Windows workstation, with controlled access to development projects planned as a next step.

Areas of focus

A connected view of
the built environment.

Engineering establishes the context. GIS reveals the relationships. Software makes a useful workflow repeatable.

01

Civil engineering

Civil site plans, utility infrastructure, and plan-and-profile documentation inform my approach to design. Clear drawings connect technical decisions to the places they affect.

GIS & spatial analysis

Spatial data management and cartography turn scattered information into a coherent view. ArcGIS and QGIS provide the tools to explore infrastructure, terrain, and water.

QGIS Tools Lab

Plugin concept · No public release yet

Exploring small QGIS plugins that help engineers review spatial data and prepare clearer deliverables. The initial direction is practical QA/QC for infrastructure and water-resource workflows.

Public demonstrations will use synthetic or openly licensed data. Prototype code and unreleased methods remain private while the tools are developed and tested.

Proposed first prototype

  • Review a project layerCheck coordinate-system information, required attributes, and geometry issues before analysis.
  • Make findings actionablePlan a concise review summary that helps locate flagged features and document follow-up checks.
  • Validate, then demonstrateTest on small synthetic datasets in desktop QGIS before publishing screenshots, limitations, or a downloadable release.

Future portfolio studies will connect civil engineering, spatial analysis, and small software experiments. These are planned directions, not released products.

WATER RESOURCES

Watershed & Flood Explorer

A planned map-based study of terrain, drainage areas, and flood information, with clear data sources and engineering limitations.
